No app yet
Bought a "pro" feel like I took a step backwards. I used to be able to save my Cooks and interact with the device through my phone. This one has no app support yet. Machine works great as it should so did the other one that also works with the app. If you're running a restaurant i'm sure the commercial quality will prove to be a good investment. If you're cooking for friends and family save your money and buy a different model
EXCELLENT FOR LARGE BULK PACKAGED RIBS
Great for long packaged ribs, Sous Vide in a long cooler for 36hrs.
Freeze until ready to grill.
I grill on a custom Stainless Steel, Small Mesh grate being careful not to break up the ribs, makes a great presentation to have a solid full rack served on a lightly charred cedar board.
I love iy
Can't wait to get the app
Great Sous Vide circulator.
Really a great machine. Super compact and silent was able to heat and maintain 100 Liters of water for over 48 hours no problem.
To my surprise...
It takes a REALLY long time to heat the water up. I haven't tested it against the 2nd Generation Bluetooth model that I have, but it took 35 minutes to heat up a 14 quart container to 145F
excellent performance which hopefully will
excellent performance which hopefully will be matched reliability
Very bad delivery service and process
The delivery method and process needs a lot of improvement. The tracking link leads to a french site that has nothing to do with the delivery service. You need to copy the number and serach for the delivery service site. Also, haven’t recieved the delivery in the mentioned period of business days. Still waiting.
never got it

Love my Anova Pro
Build quality: 5/5
Water to temp time: 5/5
Connectivity: not scored
Worth it? Yes
I’ve been using a sous vide to cook for about 3 years now.
Our previous unit(different brand. 1100w unit all plastic, no connectivity in case you’re researching units) met its end when it fell from the counter onto our floor. Since it was made of plastic, it shattered into about a million pieces. We use our sous vide about 5 nights a week.
I actually had the opportunity to buy a brand new in box Anova WiFi from a friend at an amazing price, but I decided to go with the pro, and I’m not disappointed.
My Anova Pro feels like a solid unit. It feels well worth the cost and it works great.
We’ve used our unit nearly every night since we got it at a variety of temperatures.
From 131 to 180 degrees, the Anova Pro has had no problems heating up water. I made cheesecakes last night, and the water was up to temp when I was ready to drop them. Water comes out of my tap at about 115, so for steak the water is up to temp within 5-10 minutes.
At the time of this review, the Anova app is not updated for the Pro, so I cannot comment on the connectivity. I do enjoy the app, I’ve had the Anova app on my phone for time guidelines and recipes for about 2 years.
I am happy with my purchase and would recommend as a second “upgrade” unit for a home cook, or if you have the $$$ then might as well get a great one.
Awesome Sousvide Terrible Shipping solution
Have multiple Anova units, the new Pro is excellent. BUT I was charged an additional US$100 to receive my unit, $39 was tax which is understood but the carrier you used refused to give me my unit until I paid $61 "handling fee"
The thing is bloody perfect...
... but the app is missing
Hoping unit is worth paying 4x the standard unit, very anxious to be able to us WiFi and Bluetooth functions!
A bit bulky but appears solid as a rock (time will tell.) Same easy user interface as other Anova's - it's very fast to set, start, and go.
Anova Precision Cooker Pro
I have the WiFi Precision Cooker which always worked well. The new Pro is even better in that it is more powerful and thus heats the water faster. I can hardly wait for the release of the App in order to be able to set it up for WiFi cooking. This is the only negative aspect thus far.
